2000 Other Plymouth Models Door Solenoid

My drivers side door solenoid (2000 plymouth Neon LX) screeches everytime I lock or unlock my doors. I pulled the inside door panel off and found where it's located inside the door, but it seems almost impossible to get to. Is it quite difficult to change one out and how would I go about it?

Hi scarysari
Your half way there taking door panel off. Now disconnect lock cylinder, lock button and latch release rods from door latch. Disconnect wiring from door lockmotor. Remove bolts holding latch to door end frame. Remove door lock motor. Or spray some silicone on it see if it shuts up.
