my car has been acting like the battery has been getting drained it was harder and harder to start finally it wouldnt start I took it to auto zone and they said it was the alternator is that it or what

If they load tested the battery and it checks out-the alternator should be next in line to be load tested if its doing its job if not the electrical system will be just using battery power till its exhausted-then it will results in No crank
