We have a 99 Plymouth Neon that has 160 thousand miles. The air bag light would come on once in a while and now it comes on quite a bit and it stays on for a long time. What could be causing this and is it safe for us to drive the car?

Hi there,

there is a problem with one of the sensors, while the light is on it is safe to drive, just that the SRS will be in-op until the fault is diagnosed and repaired, you will first need to have the system scanned to read the set fault code.
