1998 Plymouth Neon vaccum hose I think?

Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Plymouth Neon 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1998 plymouth neon dohc 2.0 4cyl. There is a hose that comes out of the valve cover right next to the oil cap and leads to the exhaust heads. The hose is broken. Im not sure what it is and need hlp. Thank you.

Very hard to identify a part without a picture, would you happen to have a pic of it that you can upload here? Is the engine light coming on? It may be a vacuum hose but again hard to tell without seeing it.

That is your PCV valve hose (positive crankcase ventilation)
