If I feel u can help me get my car fixed ill make a nice donation. Now I have no heat in my car, the temp guage works fine, my antifreeze is topped off, it worked on and off for about the past month. And when it did work my car would not heat up unless I was moving and today I was suppost to make a 200 mile trip. I made it 50 miles and my windows never defrosted. Heater just blew cold air. Im now sitting at a hotel room with no ideas. Please help!

Hello -

To better assist you please tell me the engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.

Okay..... To better understand you I need to ask a couple of questions.

The heat has been working on and off.............

The temp of the car is okay......... Now lately the temp of the car stays low unless you start driving and then it goes up but still no heater.

Do you know if you have Dex-Cool as an anti freeze?

Based off of what you have said and not having the above info... It appears you may need to change your thermostat and your heater core may be plugged.

Please answer the above to better assist...

Also, after the car is warmed up......... Are both the heater hoses going into and coming out of the dash cool, or is one hot and one cool?
