My car is idling funny. Also the check engine light came on then went off again. It drives normal but every now and then it won't accelarate properly, it jerks then kicks back in. It is even worse when I turn the A/C on. It stoped for a while when I changed the spark plug but it came back. When I changed the spark plugs there was oil in there, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. What is the problem?

Oil in the cylinder/s is no good news-could be valves/guides/seals/rings-that can caused your problem

The computer has identified a problem within the engine management system-you need to have the computer scanned for OBD2 code/s Autozone provides this service free and comeback with the code/s this is where we start

So, what if I didn't tell you the check engine light was on, what would you say was the problem?

This could be caused by insufficient voltage at the spark plug (bad wires or corrosion) and the scanning is just the starting point for most diagnostics regardless of the status of the check engine light. So follow the previous suggestion and have this done and let us know your status.
