Brakes problem
1999 Plymouth Breeze 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 102,00 miles

I have a 99 Plymouth breeze and the drivers side front caliper rubs the inside of the rim when I apply the brakes. All 4 rims are original. Is there something that wears out on the caliper that would cause it to rub on the rim? I know they float side to side to account for brake pad wear.

Dave, if the wheels are OEM and the caliper is rubbing the wheel, the caliper has to be loose. Chances are you have a stripped retaining bolt.

Check that and let me know what you find.
