When I try and change from say defrost (windshield) vents to face vents my car will not switch over. I live in Arizona and it being summer, this is vital. I am not as much concerned with switching back and forth as I am with it just blowing on my face. If there is a way I can just manually switch it to the vents on my face, I will be satisfied. It has been like this for quite some time but the hotter it gets the more I need to cold air in my face. It blows just fine, I can change temperature and air flow levels without a hitch, it is only switching which vent it comes out that is an issue. Thank you SO SO much for any assistance or advice you can provide.

Sounds like the "mixing doors arent swithcing over, you or a mechanic will have to go under the dash to find the problem, if this is cable operated then you may have a disconnected cable

Is there no kind of reset or anything like that? I understand that wouldnt actually fix anything, but I am just wondering if it could possibly get it to work long enough for it to switch back to blowing on my face.

No sir, those doors arent changing over so you have to go underneath and do it manually or fix the vacuum hose or cable that helps to move it
