Engine Performance problem
1991 Plymouth Acclaim 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I just put a used motor in my 1991 Plymouth acclaim, At first it had a slite miss, now 4 days later it's having an engine miss constantly. Other then putting in new plugs and wires is there something else I can look for. I did put a new airfilter in and changed the PCV valve and changed the hoses that go to the pcv valve. Could it be it just needs the new pluges and wires, or could it be a vacuum leak or timing?

Welcome to the forum, usually you replace engine and pcm in pairs. Are there any trouble codes? Maybe it needs an overall tune-up. Also, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Sometimes with a spark issue, as a first test, I use a digital multimeter, one lead goes to ground, the other to plug wire. It is an inductive reading, you don't penetrate the insulation, nor do you take plug wire loose. As an example, enginerunning, three wires may show close 1/2 volt.5, the other one shows zero, I know where to start checking. That test isn't conclusive but it is quick.
