Hello,

So, what is the alternator output to the battery?
If there is excessive load on the charging system, the alternator will not be able to charge the battery. And that will lead to battery discharge and failure.

Is the converter still plugged in?
What size is the converter?
If that is drawing too much amp it will not allow the alternator to charge the battery.
It is possible that the alternator is just not powerful enough to handle the extra load.

The factory alternator is rated at 115A.

Let me know a little more information.
Thank you.
