If car wont start, check battery for condition including load test. If water went down defroster duct it will drain out air conditioner drain eventually If it does not evaporate. Try resetting security system if no manual look online for your car on how to do it. Also check fuses in car and under hood it may have gotten a connection wet and blew a fuse.

It can be possible that water might have reached the ignition switch of the car due to which it has stopped. Try to drain out the water from the dashboard and make it dry. Once it’s dried reset all the security setting then check with all the connection to the ignition is working. If still some problem persists call a technician to rectify the issue.
