I bought a new clutch kit for the truck and it came with two pilot bearings. The flywheel only had the old small bearing installed but the flywheel is machined for another bearing that is larger. Is the larger bearing required to sit in front of the smaller. Two will the second bearing cause the input shaft the not to seat full making the bell housing to sit away from the engine block?

Hello, I am Danny.

I would not advise to put both bearings in! You answered your own question. It would not make the transmission mate to the engine properly causing all kinds of problems (not to mention fit). Did you contact the clutch manufacturer and see what they had to say?
