2000 Peugeot 206 Petrol pipe

I was wondering how common this is, and how dangerous. I was just out driving my car and it broke down as the petrol pipe had come updone spilling petrol everywhere. We managed to clip it back together again but should the car be looked at?

Unfortunately this is a common and dangerous problem on older peugot models .. have the connectors replaced ASAP
