Check engine light came on. Vehicle will sometimes shut off after first started for the day when I go to pull forward or reverse, doesn't want to go above 25 MPH. Lags on takeoff and acceleration. Doesn't appear to be caused be sticking brake (I state this because I have a small brake fluid leak, but keep fluid checked and filled regularly). Just bought new ignition wire set and got first 3 installed no problem. So my question is, is it easy to remove and then replace the top back part of engine to replace the last 3 wires? And other than fuel filter what may be causing this performance issue?

Hello.

Firstly you need to get the car scanned to see why the check engine light came on ? most car spare stores will do this for you.

This video explains how to do the rear 3 spark plugs. and I've added a couple of diagrams below also:

Get the car scanned and get back to us with the codes for more information.

Hope this helps with your repair, Please keep us updated on your repair outcome and do not hesitate to contact us again for further information or assistance.
