Hi,

The PCV valve is usually connected to one of the valve covers. I can't see the component in the pics you supplied. Also, in North America, this model was discontinued after 2000. I'm not sure if you are located outside of North America.

I attached a pic below of what you are looking for. Also, if you check on the intake manifold, a larger vacuum hose from the manifold will lead to the valve.

I attached two of your pics and two I found related to the older model (2000). I circled what I believe it is on your pics. I can't be sure because the pics are just close enough that I can't orient myself to what exactly I'm seeing. If you retake them showing more of the area, it may help.

Let me know.

Joe

Hi,
I live in Oman middle east.
It's a Lumina and engine is commodore vz I think.
It has oil inside the air intake. What seems to be the cause of it?
Thank you for the help.

Hi,

Who is the manufacturer of the vehicle? I was thinking it was a Chevrolet Lumina. As far as the pics, I copied one and circled a hose running to the intake. It isn't connected. Do you know where that is going to?

As far as oil in the air filter, it could be a few different things. Is the mileage you indicated above (300,000) miles, correct? It simply could be the result of excessive crankcase pressure due to worn piston rings.

How much oil is getting into the air filter box? Also, let me know about the hose in the pic I attached below.

Take care,

Joe
