How can I get to the PCV valve without taking the manifold off?

Good afternoon,

Can you give me the VIN number so I can get the correct information? There are 2 3.0 engines for your car.

1MEFM55S82G626572 is the VIN and it's a DOHC 24v.

Okay, the procedure is below with pictures for you. Yes, you do not need to remove the manifold.

REMOVAL

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.

2. Remove the splash shield.

3. Remove the throttle spring. Disconnect the accelerator cable and the speed control cable, if equipped.

4. Remove the bolts and the throttle cable mounting bracket.

5. Remove the pushpin and position the engine wiring harness out of the way.

6. Disconnect the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose at the intake manifold and remove.

7. Remove the PCV valve by rotating the valve 180 degrees and removing it from the oil separator.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
