Passenger side airbag light is on after hitting a curb?

There is a weight sensor inside the passenger's side seat that sounds like it went bad, so can I ask if there is anything sitting in the seat such as a book etc.? If not let's run the airbag codes. You can do a CAN scan as well; you can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Seat Weight Sensor
Vehicles equipped with the Occupant Classification System (OCS) have a seat weight bladder and pressure sensor unit that is integral to the passenger front seat cushion. The pressure sensor receives a nominal five volts and a ground through dedicated hardwired circuits from the OCM. The OCM then monitors the pressure sensor output voltage.
