Will a 2013 Chevrolet Impala left passenger door fit a 2011 Chevrolet Impala?

Hi,

If I recall, 2006 through 2013 are the same. Please inspect to confirm it is the same. However, I feel it should work.

Here are directions for replacing the hinges. I'm adding them in case you need directions for removal. If you remove the hinges, the door is off the vehicle. Please note that the door is heavy. Make sure you support it when removing.

Removal Procedure

Note: In order to minimize door realignment, do not remove both door hinges at the same time. Do each door hinge separately, and replace the broken door hinge first.

1. Open the front door.
2. Support the front door.
3. Remove the intermediate hinge bolts from the front door hinge.
4. Move the door as far as the rubber conduit will allow.
5. Clean the mounting surfaces of the hinges with a clean rag and mark the front door hinge locations on each surface with a grease pencil or other suitable marker.
6. Remove the bolts from the front door side hinge.
7. Remove the door side hinge.
8. Remove the bolts from the bodyside hinge.
9. Remove the bodyside hinge.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the bodyside hinge to the alignment marks.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Vehicle > Vehicle Damage Warnings > Fastener Caution).

2. Install the bolts to the bodyside hinge.

Tighten the bolts to the bodyside hinge to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).

3. Position the door side hinge to the bodyside hinge.
4. Install the intermediate hinge bolts to the front door hinge.

Tighten the bolts to the intermediate hinge to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).

5. Install the door side hinge bolts.

Tighten the bolts to the door side hinge to 33 Nm (24 lb ft).

6. Remove the door support.
7. Inspect the door for proper operation and alignment. Refer to Front Side Door Adjustment (See: Front Door > Adjustments) or Rear Side Door Adjustment (See: Rear Door > Adjustments).
