Brake light flashes on my dashboard?

Hello, the first thing I would look at is the brake fluid level which will turn the red brake waring light on. It sounds like you have two problems, please start a new thread for the "hit a bump and it dies" issue. Please check the fluid level and get back to me, I will look for your new post and help you on that as well.

If the fluid level is okay, look at the parking brake lever to make sure it is all the way off, this can turn the light on as well, here is a guide to help you see what else can turn the red brake warning light on.
