Scanner read AWD#1and DCM-F faults. Do I need to program replacement modules. If So what Scan tool would you recommend that could perform this task under $2000.00

Yes, both AWD and DCM modules require programming if replaced. Here are your choices for a scanner capability of reprogramming the modules:

1. Ford VCM II / VCM III + IDS or FDRS software $500-$1200
