This started about several months ago. I replaced bank 1 oxygen sensor with OEM BOSH. About a month later battery drained. I replaced battery, and Mil light returned with same code ( P2096), checked for vacuum leaks none present. I reset the mil light. All was well for about four maybe five months. Mil light returned with same code (P2096). Any idea what I should look for next?

Check for an exhaust leak. Put your foot over the tailpipe while the engine idling and listen for a hissing sound or louder exhaust sound. If you hear one, have someone else put their foot over the tailpipe while you try to pinpoint the leak. You may feel hot exhaust gases blowing onto your hand if you run your hand along the entire exhaust just a few inches away feeling for the hot air.
