Code P1346? Previous owner didn’t mention VVT malfunction fault?

Previous owner didn’t mention VVT malfunction fault, however no CEL was illuminated. Assumed OCV was faulty which I then replaced and checked filter which was clean and problem still persists, recently replaced timing chain and found after 5 mins of driving CEL appears fault to match P1346. I have checked the wire to OCV and I’m getting 12V. Performance does feel slightly lesser after timing chain replacement. I’m guessing timing might be off or potential ECM problem.

Id say pull the valve cover off to see if the chain has skipped a tooth also the chain tentioner could be worn out or the actual VVT unit itself that's mounted on the cam shaft. Good luck.

MECHTRIX is correct!

The code P1346 points to a VVT sensor (Camshaft Position Sensor “Bank 1”)

So this code comes up when the timing chain, tensioner and guides need to be replaced, be sure to clear the codes once completed.
