Will not start. Fuel pump was replaced then battery drained. Charged battery and then theft light was flashing. Had 2 new keys programmed to truck by locksmith and now theft light is no longer flashing but stays on solid and still no start. Showing code p1260, theft light code is 21, and cluster code shows EE Fail/01. I need my truck to run and 8 can't afford a dealership. Please help!

Hi,

We need to get rid of the P1260. That is related to the keep-alive memory. It needs reset.

Try this. Disconnect the negative battery cable for approx 30 minutes. See if that changes anything. That should clear the keep alive memory.

As far as code 21, that is related to the restraint control module. There is a ground issue. Is the airbag staying on?

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe
