Codes P0746 and P0766?

Hi,

My transmission is slipping after like a mile of driving! If I wait for half hour so it’s can go another bit and slip again! Got p0746 and p0766 and I checked the transmission oil it’s black! Please advise how I could fix this! Thanks

The two codes are transmission related 746 is the pressure regulating solenoid A while the 766 is shift solenoid D performance. From your description the pressure solenoid isn't operating properly and that is causing the transmission to slip and burn the fluid and likely it has damaged the clutches and steels from the excessive heat that generates. That is also why the fluid is black. At this point about the only solution would be to either rebuild or replace the transmission. Changing the fluid and replacing the solenoids isn't going to help at this point because of the physical damage in the transmission. The parts to rebuild it are not that expensive but there are a few special tools that are required and those are expensive.
