Code P0720 even after replaced VSS

Had the VSS replaced after A check engine light showed P0720. But the code still appears after driving a minute.

Need to get my car smogged. What else except the VSS could be causing the P0720 CEL?
Replacing the sensor didn’t help. Should I change/clean something else?
