Where is the input speed sensor located?

The input speed sensor is located inside of the transmission pan.

The input speed sensor (ISS) is a hall-effect type sensor. The ISS mounts to the control valve upper body assembly and connects to the control solenoid
(w/body and TCM) valve assembly through a wire harness and connector.

Thank you! If I were to drop the pan, the ISS should be easily accessible for replacing?

Good afternoon,

I attached the procedure for the replacement for you.

The valve body has to be removed to gain access to the speed sensor.
