So I'm having problem waiting My vehicle Going into limp mode After About Five to ten minutes of driving And I get the main code Is p06de. I know this code signifies the oil control circuit stuck on and I have read that it has to do with the oil flow control solenoid. I replaced that solenoid and it solved the problem for a few days and then the code came back again and it continues to come back Repeatedly Now I made the mistake of replacing it with an aftermarket one as opposed to OEM. I have also since purchased a replacement oil pump but I have not installed it yet I did purchase OEM on that but I do know or from what I have researched replacing the oil pump on these can be quite the job do you recommend I purchase an OEM solenoid before replacing the oil pump? Now on a second note a new code I am getting is a p06db which is related to the oil control circuit low voltage I believe I did a battery and alternator test and the battery came back good but the alternator is overcharging could that be the problem with The two codes I am receiving on the oil control circuit?

The circuit low is the problem; this basically means the oil pressure is low and the valve cannot control it which gives you the code. I would try changing the oil and use a heavier weight like 10/40 and then clear the codes to see if that helps, if not change the valve out with an OEM unit.

P06DE - Engine Oil Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Stuck On

If that does not help chances are the oil pump pick up is clogged with goo. You might be able to remove the oil pan and clean it to fix it, if the oil pump pick up is not clogged then you are stuck with replacing the oil pump. Please upload pictures or videos in your response :)
