The check engine and ABS lights on as well as the ESP light flashing, and when I check the codes I only get a P0500 code for the vehicle speed sensor. I have replaced both the sensor on the transmission and I still get the P0500 code even if I erase the codes. I still have RPM and odometer functions. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately the sensors are just one cause but that they are normally the issue when you get this code along with one for one of the sensors specifically. You don't have that so more than likely you have a wiring or a module issue.

Here is the test that you need to follow in order to determine which is it.

Let me know if you have questions.

KASEKENNY1,
I check voltage to all four speed sensors and they all had 12v to them. However I was unable to get continuity from the ECU to the ESP if that was what I was supposed to do. Please advise.

Okay. I am not sure that is what you are looking for because it doesn't communicate on one line. The ABS and ECM communicate via a bus communication and not one direct wire. Take a look at the attachments and I think if this is the only code (p0500) then you may have the issue in the ECM.
