I feel like I've tried everything. Is there a step by step process to diagnosis for this code? I'm also stuck in limp mode and my cruise control doesn't work.

What is "everything"? What are the symptoms? Does the engine start, then stall while running, or does it run okay until you stop it after the Check Engine light turns on, and then it fails to restart?

The way to approach this is to use a scanner to view live data and see when the problem occurs. Specifically, I have a Chrysler DRB3 for all of my vehicles. That displays the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor with a "No" or "Present", to tell if the sensors' signals are showing up at the Engine Computer. This lets you run the engine while flexing wires under the hood to see if you can cause a change.

For intermittent problems, the best suspect is a wiring or connector terminal problem. Both of these sensors on any car brand or model can fail by becoming heat-sensitive. They'll usually work okay while driving since normal air flow keeps them cool. Once you stop with a hot engine, that heat migrates up to the sensors and can cause one to fail. It usually works again after cooling down for about an hour. While technically that's an intermittent problem, the computer sees that as a missing signal and will set a different fault code.
