Few weeks ago, my service engine soon light came on. Brought it to the mechanic and found it was the P0146 error code. Found and replace a faulty oxygen sensor and rear cat converter with flex pipe. They also checked the wiring harness and found no
problem. While driving the car, the service engine soon light came back on and is still on. My mechanic suspects the ECM module. Is there any way to verify this and how do I fix this issue. Thanks

First thing id do is.. Maybe call around your area and see if theres a shop near you that has a good bi directiinal scan tool its able to check more than a regular scan tool including the ecm and all of the the moduals and individual sensors and other parts and testdeeply. Activate de activate devices . Its a vary powerfull way to analyze the problem often times it can find and test the suspected part or parts re write instrutions to moduals and the ecm and save you lots of time and money. That said. The ecm is pretty tough theyre harder to break then people think built really well and designed to last many years and usually do" most times the life of the car. Hope this answered some of your questions and "good luck "

Also a side note. Maybe ask the mechanic that changed the 02 sensor wich sensor he changed becuase that code po146 is specifically for a sensor that has lost comunication specifically on bank 1 sensor 3. Id recheck the connection there but id also still have it re scanned with a bi directional scan tool good luck
