Was driving the interstate and my dash is digital so a light came on saying transmission overheated idle engine. I pulled over turned the car off for about thirty minutes started it back up to drive home and it didn't say that again. What do I need to do to fix my problem?

Hello,

In the diagrams down below I have included a factory diagnostic troubleshooting guide for your vehicle to track down the culprit for it's overheating problem. Your vehicle doesn't have that many miles on it, you might be able to have it looked at by the dealership under warranty. A lot of vehicles are covered by a 10 year 100,000 mile warranty. I don't know what your vehicle's warranty is, but you might want to look into it. Anyway, please get back to us with what you decide to do and what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
