The overhead console which displays the direction and temperature outside will only show that screen. If the menu button is pushed, it will go through the menu settings but that's it. The other buttons don't work at all now. I recently have heard the chime go off indicating something wrong and it would of displayed on the overhead console but it doesn't. I'm not getting any check engine lights come up or any other ones on my dash but something is clearly wrong and I need to know how to fix this issue. Please help.

If this system is not operating then unfortunately it is the unit itself that has to be replaced. I attached the info on this showing where it says the EVIC contains a central processing unit that communicates with the other modules. So if none of the other info is working them most likely the unit has failed and needs replaced.

The less likely cause is that the information network (PCI Bus network) has an issue. However, this would most likely have codes along with it.

If there are no codes then I would suspect the overhead console needs replaced.

I attached the info on this below. Let us know if you have questions. Thanks
