Engine shuts off after oil change

I have the car listed above Lite model. It has been running fine until I changed my oil pump. The car just switches off while driving and starts immediately after. After driving a short while the car switches off again then starts immediately. Diagnostics have not picked up any faults. The MAP sensor, relay and several other things have been replaced including the fuel pump and fuel filter, but the problem still continues. Mechanics have given up and it is costing a fortune. Please someone help!

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com. This is an interesting one. I realize the fuel pump is new. However, have you checked the fuel pump relay? It may be overheating or just going bad internally causing it to shut down and then it works again and the car starts.

Check that first and let me know what you find. Also, while you are in the relay box, check the ignition relay as well.

I would check the oil pressure sensor because if the computer thinks there is no or low pressure it will shut the engine off. This also this may not set a check engine light.
