I have a 91 olds cutlass supreme 3.1L v6 4door 121,075mi. I've had an idle speed control replaced but it still stalls just not as much, when the engine stalls the power on the dash is still present. I was told by 1 mechanic I might have a vacuum leak present in fuel injection system or total fuel injection malfunction or a vacuum leak period. The plastic vacuum lines that attach to my throttle body(well connection there seems loose and cracked) could that affect the way my car starts or would that make the engine stall at traffic stops?

Try the idle relearn, I'm not sure on how to do it. But it has worked on many other peoples cars. I have the same problem as you do. I'm thinking of changing the IAC.

If the hoses are cracked then they could be leaking. The iac can be cleaned out if you are careful and don't scratch it all up on the piston and in the bore.
