Let me put it to you this way. No one responded to the posting so I would like to give it a try. Do you know why the cat and the o2 sensors are on the vehicles. They help keep the air clean for the next generation of people on the earth. You have changed the back pressure on the system and your cars computer is probably starting to have problems with adjusting the fuel mixture. I do know that a bad or missing O2 can be really slow to manifest problems. I have seen the lower one be broken and yet the car ran fine for 2 -3 thousand miles with no problems. Then one day it started to faulter at stops and got a little worse as time went by. Replaced the O2 and within 20 miles the problems were eliminated.
