93 oldmobile Delta 88 stalling

Hi my 93 OLd 88 Royale with a 3.8 litre and 120000km stalls any time it feels like and the it will start anytime from a minute to an hour after. I'm thinking it might be the crank sensor if so how do u change it.I have already diengaged the overdrive cause I was also getting stalling as I slowed down. This started happening at about 5oo km intervals last year now its every day. Also is there a reason why the paint is started to peel off in spots all over. Thanks

I have the same car and the exact same problems! The paint is hideous--peeling off in big patches but only on the rear and the roof. It stalls out on me periodically whether I on the highway or anywhere. This morning I almost hit another car turning into the parking lot at my work place b/c it cut out and no power steering. The sensor was replaced months ago when the car wouldn't start. The battery is new. Anybody have any advice?
