Engine Cooling problem
1999 Other Oldsmobile Models 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 106000 miles

Hello,
The cooling fans on my Olds Intrigue are not coming on.
So far I put 12 VDC to them, motors are working fine.
I checked the 40 amp fuse. OK.
Tested the 2 relays. Getting continuity through both of them.

I went and bought a temperature sensor.
The problem is I do not know where it is located!
Any ideas?
Thanks
Carl

The sensor is located on the intake manifold right near the thermostat. (Follow upper rad hose to engine and thats the thermostat housing) 2 wires go to is, usually yellow and brown.

I found the temperature sensor. Everyone has been telling me it is located by the thermostat. The key here is that it is a 3.5 engine. It is located in the block on the back side of the engine about half way down. It is a real bear to get at.
