1999 Oldsmobile car won't start

Had this problem before, It turned out to be the Ignition switch, it not only starts the car, it runs a lot of the electrical stuff as well, so when it goes out that dash goes nuts sometimes as well, it is located about half way down the steering wheel, it has a rod that goes all the way up to the key. It might be possible to replace it with out tearing the steering wheel apart. There are four large nuts that hold the steering wheel up right, take those off and you can usually get to it.
