1985 olds cutless ciaira

I have a 1985 olds mileage been turned over it has a 3.0 engin 6 cilender fuel injection heres the thing before it stoped it was runnung good then it just stoped runnung it wants to start but wont fire. Changed the timming and gears. Changed oil not sure where else to look for the problem HELP PLEASE.

Hi there,

I sounds like the fuel pump may have failed. You will have to test the fuel pressure , but a quick reference is that you should be able to hear the fuel pump cycle (run for a few seconds) when you turn on the ignition (don't crank) If you can't hear the pump humm, you may have a fuel pump issue.
