I am having problems with my car idleing higher than normal. I believe that it should be around 700 to 900 RPM but sometimes it will be around 1500-2000. If I turn the car on and off a few times the idle will go back down but once I drive it will go back up. I am assuming that the problem is with a sensor or an electrical component but do not know where to start. Where do you think that I should look first?

Could it be the Idle Air Controler Valve, that is all I can find to replace and I was thinking that that was the problem. Also could it be the mass air sensor?
