1991 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Gauge panel dies when I turn on my

My gauge panel completely dies when I turn on my lights, but works when I turn the dimmer all the way down when they are on. With the dimmer all the way down the speedometer does work but as soon as I turn it up to where the dome light comes on it kills it. Also the turn signal indicators stay on when the lights are on but both signals do work fine.

I have the same car. And I am having minor electrical problems. If I were you I would check your grounds. Its always helpful to check your fuses, and even check the one behind the glove box.
