1986 Oldsmobile Delta 88 3.8l eng. Code41 mileage: 155000. I recently replaced the cam position sensor after several stalls and code 41. The old sensor had severl cracks in the epoxy, and at first the new sensor seemed to work fine(I let it idle for ~15 min until the radiator fan turned on, and everything was still OK. No failure codes etc.). Well, unfortunately that didn't correct the problem. The car stalled ~1 mile from home and wouldn't restart for ~15 min. It did make the short drive home but now sits in the driveway, and yes the code 41 is back. Do you have any further suggestions?
Thanks

Recent update: I'm measuring only 1.1V AC on the supply lead and 0.1 V AC on the output leads to the Cam sensor. I made the measurements using a Fluke 66 DVM and measure between ground and the respective lead in question. Aren't these numbers low by 10X? I expect the supply to be closer to 10V AC. Does this mean there's a problem w/ the ECU? I will try and look further. Any sugs?
Thanks
