Although I reset the computer the "check" engine light comes on after driving for several miles. I have a diagnostic done but unable to identify the problem. Can you help me to identify and correct this problem?

What was the code? If the light is on, there's a code stored. I'll HAVE to know what the code is in order to help you. I'll be glad to if you'll repost with the code. It could be a number of things. Is the car running bad. If not, it may be an emmission related code. The government makes the car makers put all that on there to protect the environment. If it's running bad, it could be something else. I'll be waiting.

Look under the car at the back bumper under the trunk near the gas tank. There is a wire there with a plug in the middle of it. It is easy to see. Make sure it is plugged together. Same problem on my 97 cutlass. That fixed it.
