1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass AC light goes on and off

There are times when I have my ac on and the little green ac light goes on and off by itself. When its off it blows warm air and then cold again when its on. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks.

Yes, the refrigerant pressure is not high enough to run at all the time, you must have a tiny leak somewhere, you'll need the trace die shot into the system or, if the hole is small enough, shoot some oil/sealant into the system, then top off. All this can be done by you with help from the directions on the cans.
