1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass rough idle

I have a 96 cutlass and I had the motor repalced and now the car just idles horribly but if its out driving around its just fine its only bad when you start it up and let it run or if you stop at a stop sign or red light and it idles really bad again

Hi:
the first thing to check is for vacuum leaks. When the engine was replaced, they may have broken or forgotten to attach a vacuum hose or two.

Let me know what you find.
