Engine Performance problem
1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl

husband has this car, he has already replaced the fuel pump, got it used at a junk yard, it ran good for about a week, now it stalls, if he put gas in the carborator hole, it will run for about 5 minuites then it stalls again. Is there a fuel censor on this car and if so where is it. He's driving me crazy.

Hi:
If the fuel pump came from a junk yard, you may have gotten a bad one. There is a fuel pump relay, but that doesn't sound like the problem. I recommend having the fuel pressure / volume checked.
