1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Electrical

My dash lights come on and the tranny doesn't work right I need to down shift to get goin also during this time the temp gauge runs hotter then normal. I thought it was a grounding problem so I cleaned the ground wires, any suggestions? Check engine light is one that doesn't come on. The fluid levels are good and the cooling fan works fine.

That was stupid of me, check your fluid level(transmission). First of all. And verify that the radiator fan is working, as this helps to cool the tranny fluid.
