I just purchased a cheap car, 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It has 238,000 miles on 3.1 litre 6 cyl. I bought this car with the heater not in working condition. I checked the fuse box in the glove compartment. The blower fuse was good. I am not sure how to tell if it is the heater core or the blower motor. Also, not sure if there are any other fuses or relays that I could check. When I try to turn the heat on, all I can see is the light lighting up telling me the fan speed, but no heat whatsoever. Any help is deeply appreciated!

Is the blower motor functioning when you turn the switch on in any position? If not could be the blower motor relay, blower motor resistor and blower motor itself.

Thanks for the prompt reply! It is not doing anything throughout any of the stages. Low med high. You mentioned it could be the relay. How do I check that? I have minimal tools but am not a complete dummy. (At least I don't think so!) Anyway, I know there are 3 fuse boxes. The only fuse that I could find that said "blower" was inside the passenger side glove compartment. The fuse looked fine. Thanks a bunch!

Find the blower motor electrical connector and power the purple wire and see if the blower motor will come On.
