my friends car is 1994 oldsmobile cutlass ciera s, she was driving and her car wanted to die when she was stopped she would turn off her heat and then it didn't want to die. Her lights would go dim if she has to much stuff on ie heater, radio, volume of blower stuff like that. This would happen for about 3 to 4 days. I started her car this morning and it idle very high. It ran about 2 minutes and then it died. She also asked around they said it might be the voltage regulator. I think in the process of starting her car I think it is both any helpful hints I can do to see if it is the voltage regulator and/or alternater?
