The rear brakes on my 1992 Oldsmobil Cutlass Sierra lock up when ever you stop hard. The rear end of the car will squat down too. I replaced the master cylinder. But that did not do anything. Any help will be appreciated

Check for a strut or spring problem on the squatting.

Pull the drums off and check for too much dust or more probable, a leaking wheel cylinder. The shoes should have beveled edges on the sort edges of the linings.

Got your PM.
The next thing to check for is any pivoting of the wheel cylinder in the backing plate. IF it shifts, it will put the shoes in an awkward spot than can lock them up. The movement may take a little effort to find, as it may only be subtle right now.
